You can TRUST us!

Brad Magocha

CEO & Principal Engineer

Originally from Zimbabwe, I moved to Australia in 2015 to pursue my Master of Engineering (Structures), which I completed in December 2016. Since then, I’ve worked on a diverse range of structural projects, from residential modifications to large-scale developments, with a focus on helping homeowners achieve the best outcomes for their investments. As the CEO and Principal Engineer at Guardian Consulting Engineers, I understand the responsibility of earning and maintaining client trust, ensuring every project is delivered with precision, care, and the highest standards of quality.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family—whether it’s cooking Sunday dinners, crafting with my son TK, or cheering on the Melbourne Rebels in Rugby Union. To unwind, I enjoy music, audiobooks, or a Netflix binge. I also have a quirky fear of lawn mowers, known as rasemanphobia! Despite that, I approach every challenge with enthusiasm and determination, always striving to improve in both my professional and personal life.

Dat Hoang

Structural Engineer

Born in Vietnam, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Infrastructure and Bridge Design Engineering in 2018. With a passion for further my education, I seized the opportunity to use my scholarship to complete my Master of Engineering Science (structural) at Swinburne University of Technology in 2020.

Outside of work, I love cooking! I often spend hours creating beautiful traditional Vietnamese meals for my wife and I. Cooking is my stress relief, allowing me to escape from the daily workflow, even if the meals don’t always turn our as planned. Besides cooking, I have a keen passion for Judo. After training for just over four years I achieved my brown belt. Unfortunately, due to a knee injury, I won’t be able to reach my black belt.

My Favourite experience working at Guardian Consulting Engineers is that Guardian is not just a company; we are a family. We maintain a great internal relationship, whilst also warmly welcoming our clients into our team with every new project we take on.

MARIO DELA

Consultant, Structural Engineering Services

Originally from the Philippines, I earned my Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) in 2003. Since then, I’ve worked on a wide variety of structural projects in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. My career has taken me from designing small-scale residential buildings to working on high-rise structures and complex civil infrastructures. I am passionate about sustainable engineering, integrating materials like timber, steel, concrete, and composites to meet a wide range of project requirements.

Outside of my engineering work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and taking on new hobbies. Whether it’s exploring sustainable construction techniques or finding new ways to stay active, I always enjoy learning and growing. For me, working at RMG is more than just a job—it’s a chance to collaborate with an outstanding team of professionals. The close-knit and supportive culture at RMG has provided an excellent environment for me to grow both professionally and personally, contributing to meaningful projects.

WARREN NGUYEN

Consultant, Structural Engineering Services

Originally from Australia, I’m currently completing my Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Honours at Deakin University. Throughout my studies, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, from structural modifications to wind bracing designs, ensuring buildings are both safe and sustainable. My passion for engineering has driven me to gain hands-on experience with industry tools like AutoCAD, Civ3D, and Infraworks, and I’ve been fortunate to contribute to projects where I could apply my skills in structural analysis and design.

When I’m not working on engineering projects or hitting the books, I love exploring new ways to stay active and engaged, whether through outdoor activities or learning new technical skills. I’m always looking for opportunities to grow, and working on diverse projects has fueled my curiosity about different facets of civil and structural engineering. For me, every project is a chance to collaborate with great people and bring meaningful solutions.
